Bought this bike two months ago for a short (two and half mile with some stiff uphills), commute to work.
So far it’s been a real workhorse, and of course I’ve fitted a lot of new stuff to it, (fenders, lights, back rack etc). My only issue so far has been a “stiff link” which was soon fixed by the local bike shop for the princely sum $5, other than that it hasn’t put a foot wrong.
It has been able to handle my 6′2″ 245lb frame no problems, (actually started out at 263lbs, but that’s just a nice side effect of the ride), and there is still some room for upward adjustment of the seat post and handlebars.
The suspension, (which I had until now regarded as a gimmick), has enough give to level out most bumps in the road, as does the suspension on the seat post. But neither feels too loose with just the right amount of rigidity for control. The stock seat isn’t the most comfortable in the world, (didn’t expect it to be), but is easily replaced.
As with any bike some assembly is required, but this should take someone with even the most basic mechanical aptitude and tool kit only about 30 minutes to an hour. (Have a good set of Allen wrenches available).
Overall I’m very pleased with my purchase, and would recommend this bike wholeheartedly to a commuter or casual road rider.
I was looking for an inexpensive second bike to keep at a house at the Jersey Shore. The price, the aluminum frame, Shwinn brand plus the free shipping definitely wooed me. However, the scant Amazon product description left a lot to be desired thus prompted a lot of internet research. There were no product reviews.
Alas, not much else was revealed about the bike’s components or other details, including any Shwinn related web site.
I took a chance and ordered it since this bike would only be for ocasional use.
When it arrived, I was overwhelmed with the quality and fit and finish. Nearly all the parts are also made of aluminum: handle bars/stem, seat post, brake levers/calipers, kick stand, rims. Generally the OEM supplied seat is terrible. While not a “high end” gel set, it is in fact one and is definitely satisfactory. The deraileur system is Shimano and again not high end but it works well. The factory alignment was spot on and did not require any additional adjustments. Shifting is done via twist grips. I am not a fan of these but they work.
Assembly was a tooless snap. Only the front wheel, handle bars and seat need be attached via the integral cam over latches.
I spent a lot of time researching bicycles before deciding on this one. I cetainly recommend this bike for anyone looking for a first bike, or like me, just something nice to get around on. The value cannot be beat. All of this for under $200 delivered!
This bike is lightweight, strong, has great gear control for the price. The seat wasn’t as comfortable as I had hoped. However with a new seat all is well. Schwinn quality.

By letting her tell you her stories of the person. Letting her share memories, even repeatedly, will help her to appreciate the life that the person led. It will help with the greiving process just to have you listen. You can prod her along with the stories and the more pleasant memories will help her stop focusing so much on the dying process.

I totally love and admire the Dutch girls for controlling their bikes in such a stylish, pretty, sexy and dedicated way…it’s so much fun riding behind one of these biking babes (sorry
, watching her talk on the mobile with her girlfriends, putting on some Make-up, reorganizing the bag, listening to music on the iPod, swerving around stoned tourists and all this while traveling with the speed of light, one moment you see them, the next moment they’re just a trail of smoke and a dot at the horizon, disappearing into the sunset…you gotta love ‘em

On all surfaces other than clay, I say Federer. On clay, Nadal's topspin forehand arrives so high that it is difficult for an opponent to make a good return. This is the main factor which haunts Federer on clay versus Nadal. Take his heavy topspin forehand away, and Nadal is human on clay.
There’s an intriguing story behind this super-stylish motocyclette. Despite appearances, it’s not a vintage machine: it’s an accurate recreation of a 1950s GIMA, and costs just €4,290 (US$6,000). GIMA was a short-lived French manufacturer that made small but stylish bikes from 1947 to 1956, and would have slipped into obscurity were it not for a businessman called Hilario Gonzalez.

Ebay! Start with bikes 4 years and older, aluminum, at least 10 speeds. Riding in a Tri is a lot like riding a century. Bike fit and comfort are more important than saving weight. If your position and pedal stroke are comfortable to you, chances are they're more efficient as well.
Then, invest in a set of Tri Aero Bars.. around 60 bucks, and practice with them. More than you think you should! If you wait till the day of your triathlon, you'll dump, wipe, face plant, or hurt someone else the first time you get the wobbles. Make sure you're riding intervals and sprints, not just long distance, low effort spins on an exercise bike.
Anything by one of the larger cycle manufacturers will suit you fine as long as you're comfortable with the bike, it has a big gear you can spin for an hour at high speed, and you rack up the seat time in prep for race day. Good Luck!
And to the Chris S below me.. I agree seem like they are a purely optional expediture, but I have found that they come in very handy when resting your arms and shoulders before or after a long swim. My Veloton group actually restricts their use in TT due to 2 or 3 guys riding aero bars in a paceline last year. A direct result of poor planning on the part of the organizers, but needless to say, that particular group ended up with a broken clavicle, a broken collarbone, three green-stick arm fractures, and yards of road rash!
Also, Have to ditto the shoes and pedals. Most of all though, be comfortable. Dont buy new gear the day before your Tri. If you havent trained in or on it, chances are it will just hurt you.
shushuhs very good very good…mfly o melhorrrr de todosssss.s.s.s.s

Most likely the frame was made by Schwinn. Weinmann made the center pull brakes with weinmann coaster brake handles and possibly the Rims. The K00001 – K99999 series was made in 1953 according to the Schwinn serial numbers and date codes. As far as its worth goes it will be worth what someone is willing to pay.
